The City Clerk's office is responsible for codification of ordinances adopted by the City Council. Those ordinances are local laws prescribing rules of conduct relating to the affairs of the City, its government, citizens and visitors. Codification means the editing, rearrangement and grouping of ordinances under appropriate titles, chapters and sections.
