Survival Mindset

Recent headlines about the survival of the youth soccer team that was trapped in an underwater cave in Thailand remind us that survival begins with a commitment to not giving up.

Erik M. Clarkson will share his extensive military and law enforcement training and experience to help you better understand what it takes to survive life-threatening experiences, especially those involving violence or lethal situations.

Through a series of interactive exercises, including videos and group discussions, Clarkson will demonstrate how the mere thought of thinking through various survival scenarios is the first step to being prepared. He will touch on “fight vs. flight” and provide mental exercises designed to help participants prepare their brains to act and not shut down in life-threatening situations.

Survival depends on more than pure instinct. This class will provide real-life examples of what you can do to be ready in a life-threatening situation.
