University Place Rain Barrel Workshop

Rain barrels are an excellent method to harvest rain for home use. Rainwater harvesting captures stormwater runoff from your roof and the water can then be used on your garden and lawn areas. It has been estimated that 30,000 gallons of stormwater runs off of an average 2,000 square foot roof every year. There is a lot of potential to capture this rainwater and re-use it for watering purposes.
