National Night Out

It is getting to be that time of year again – time for University Place citizens to turn on outside lights, lock your doors and step outside to join neighbors in the fight against crime. National Night Out is always the first Tuesday of August and it will take place this year on Tuesday, August 2.

The Calaca Kings are based in Olympia, Washington, U.S.A. They have performed for thousands in concerts, festivals and special events.

Danny enjoys performing all three decades of Elvis's career, including the "recklessly abandoned" hillbilly cat 50s, the sleek 60s movie years including the Comeback Special, and the sexy 70s jumpsuit years.

Concerts in the Park - Moved to Curtis High School Cafeteria due to Weather

204th Army Band from Vancouver, WA.

Enjoy popular and patrioitic tunes by the 204th Army Band out of Vancouver, Washington.

All concerts occur on Thursday nights at the Curran Apple Orchard, 3920 Grandview Dr. W. from 6:30 to 8 p.m. In case of inclement weather, concerts will relocate to the Curtis High School Cafeteria, 8425 40th St. West in University Place.

Third Annual Teddy Bear Picnic

The 3rd Annual Teddy Bear Picnic is July 17, 2016, from 1-4pm at the Curran Apple Orchard Park, 3920 Grandview Drive West. In the case of rain or excessive heat Teddy Bear Picnic will be held in the Curtis High School cafeteria.

The Teddy Bear Picnic is a no-cost and family-oriented grassroots produced event. Attendees will enjoy teddy bear related activities, face painting, live music, dance performances, a teddy bear parade and leave with an adopt-a-bear to help them remember this wonderful event.
