University Place Refuse Service's Fall Clean-Up event takes place on two days in October, one for the north side of the city, the other for the south side (on either side of 40th St. W.).

West Pierce Fire & Rescue to Hold September 11th Remembrance Ceremonies

(Ceremonies will be held on Monday, September 12, 2016)

In honor of the 15th anniversary of September 11th, West Pierce Fire & Rescue will hold two brief public ceremonies in remembrance of the 2,977 victims killed on that date in 2001.  Among the victims, 343 firefighters, 60 police officers and 55 military personnel paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. 

Wine and Keys

Sip sophisticated wines with a Professional wine sommelier, Sarah Timbrook-Nugent on Friday, Sept. 9 from 7-9 p.m. at the Civic Building Atrium.

All proceeds go toward acquiring a Grand Piano for the U.P. Civic Building Atrium/Library. This is a cocktail chic event, featuring Black Door Wines and a silent auction.

Tickets: $25 online or $30 at the door.
