Pruning Party

Trained volunteers and Master Gardeners are available to assist people at pruning parties held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

People are welcome to prune at their convenience AFTER receiving appropriate instructions. Recommended pruning tools include work gloves, hand pruners, loppers and hand saws. Some tools available on site. Please carry all trimmings to the dumpsters.

Informational signage regarding proper pruning techniques and tools are also located near the Curran Barn as well as by the Espalier Fence off the Grandview Drive entrance into the park.

City Hall Holiday Closure

City Hall will be closed on Monday, January 1 and will close at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 29 in recognition of the New Year's Holiday.

City Hall will reopen on Tuesday, January 2 at 9 a.m.

15th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance

This year marks the 15th year the Daddy Daughter Dance event has created memories for dads and daughters of all ages in University Place. The Curtis High School ASB is excited to host this event another year!

Dads and daughters will enjoy an evening just for them! An array of music will please all age groups and tastes so come prepared to dance the night away. All ages are welcome for this fun-filled night.

Santa at the Station

Santa is making his list and checking it twice! In fact, he’s checking it so closely that he’s making two trips to West Pierce Fire & Rescue stations this month. Join your West Pierce firefighters, Santa and his elves for a night of holiday fun!
