Concerts in the Park

July 21 - Danny Vernon "Illusions of Elvis"

Danny enjoys performing all three decades of Elvis's career, including the "recklessly abandoned" hillbilly cat 50s, the sleek 60s movie years including the Comeback Special, and the sexy 70s jumpsuit years.

In his own words, "From the many years of admiration of Elvis, I've sought to create a show that would hold the excitement of the King on stage throughout various stages in his career. I also try to show respect and support the integrity of the man and his music."

With the voice, look and passion of the 20th Century icon, Danny Vernon strives to re-capture Elvis Presley's appeal to an ever-growing audience.
All concerts occur on Thursday nights at the Curran Apple Orchard, 3920 Grandview Dr. W. from 6:30 to 8 p.m. In case of inclement weather, concerts will relocate to the Curtis High School Cafeteria, 8425 40th St. West in University Place.
