What's Happening!

The City University Place will hold their annual community festival on Friday, August 1st from 5 - 9 p.m. and Saturday, August 2nd from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. at Cirque Park. This two-day event will feature live music with a variety of top-notch family entertainment such as "Second Time Around" on the main stage Friday night.

Saturday's fun begins at 7:30 a.m. at Curtis High School with a $5 Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction; sponsored by the Optimist Club of West Tacoma. Saturday's activities will continue at Cirque Park with the Uptown Cruisin' Classic Car Show, over 150 vendors, the Kids Zone, and highly acclaimed local entertainment by "Second Time Around", "The Coats" and "The Dempseys" with a whole lot more in between! So come join the celebration of University Place! It's great FREE Family Fun Entertainment!

The UPtown Cruisin' Association Classic Car Show will have one of the largest car shows in the Puget Sound area featuring car clubs from throughout Western Washington; trophies will be awarded.
