University Place Television is all about your community all the time. With 24-hour a day, seven day a week programming seen on Click! cable channel 12 and Comcast cable channel 21, the City of University Place is able to inform and educate its residents about day-to-day government functions as well as significant regional happenings around the county and the state that impact citizens in U.P. In addition, community festivals and events such as the annual University Place Festival of Fun and the Treasures in the Park/Duck Parade are prominently featured on University Place Television, increasing participation in these events and promoting community pride.
The City of University Place, the University Place School District and the University Place Fire District all use the channel's text reader to advertise meetings, events and disseminate other important information about their activities on a regular basis.

All programs on University Place Television are filmed and produced locally in conjunction with the Rainier Media Center (RMC), located on the Clover Park Technical College campus. The RMC is part of the Rainier Communications Commission (RCC), which is a cooperative effort among the majority of cities and towns in Pierce County, as well as the county government itself. The RCC's purpose is to identify telecommunications issues and advise member jurisdictions as to the best way to go forward in dealing with those issues.
