Parks and Recreation Activities

You are now able to Register On-Line and view our parks programs through our Web Page. You can find out about upcoming events and activities and register in the comfort of your own home, anytime, any day! As we continue our on-line service, we welcome your input to help make it fun and easy to use.

We also offer E-Mail Notification; get prior notices of a favorite event, class or program by signing up for e-mail notification. Simply go to our Web-site, access the home page side bar & link to "Event Calendar" or "Register Customize" and follow the directions and you will receive a reminder e-mail of all your favorite activities prior to their start date.

Our Senior Community Center has become a great gathering place for local seniors. Weekly events include Monday Bridge and Pinochle Challenge, Tuesday Ladies Social, Wednesday Senior Foot Care and Coffee with Council, Thursday Arts & Crafts and Friday Social Lunch and Bingo. Classes include our AARP Driver Safety Program and FREE Informative Seminars, Look S.A.I.L. Fitness Aerobics. All Seniors are welcome to drop in and meet new friends and enjoy the activities. Please call Jennifer Robinson at 253.564.1992 for more information.

Youth programs are thriving with great activities such as Skyhawks Summer Sports Camps, including Cheerleading, Volleyball, Golf Camp and NEW Lacrosse. Coach Dawson's Top Cat Tennis Camps is returning and the Tae Kwon Do program continues to be a success with monthly on-going classes. Look for KIDZ Love Soccer and our Youth Technology Camps. NEW this summer is our week long Youth ART CAMP for ages 8-12 years and be sure to check out our ever popular Summer Day Camp program, "CAMP UPLAY".

Many of our activities are made possible because of cooperative use of school district facilities. We extend our THANKS to the University Place School District, School Board and Staff.

As we continue to grow, parks staff would like to thank you for your support and participation. Please feel free to suggest ideas for programs or activities that you would like to see.
