Codes, Ordinances & Resolutions
The City Clerk's office is responsible for codification of ordinances adopted by the City Council. Those ordinances are local laws prescribing rules of conduct relating to the affairs of the City, its government, citizens and visitors. Codification means the editing, rearrangement and grouping of ordinances under appropriate titles, chapters and sections.
The City's Ordinances are codified in the University Place Municipal Code and are current through Ordinance Number 597, passed July 18, 2011.
The University Place Municipal Code
is updated only periodically, so it may not reflect the most recent adopted ordinances. For current fee information, please contact the City Clerk's Office at 253.566.5656.
