There are a variety of resources to available to assist businesses with financing.
Loan Programs
- Pierce County Community Investment Corporation -- Created by a consortium of local banks, PCCIC provides loans for the expansion of small businesses. Contact your local bank or Pierce County Department of Community Services at (253) 591-7205.
- Pierce County Revolving Loan Fund -- Provides subordinate loans for land, building, equipment, and working capital. Pierce County Department of Community Services at (253) 798-7205.
SBA (Small Business Administration)
- SBA 7-A -- Provides loan guarantees to small businesses for land, building, equipment and working capital. SBA Tacoma Office at (253) 274-1288 or Pierce County Department of Community Services at (253) 798-7205.
- SBA 504 -- Provides direct second mortgage loans to existing small businesses for expansion. Evergreen Community Development Association at (206) 622-3731.

Industrial Development Bonds
- Economic Development Corporation of Pierce County -- Issues tax-exempt bonds on behalf of eligible manufacturing firms. Firms may qualify for up to $10 million in funding for acquisition of land, construction, new machinery, and other business costs.
