Parks and Recreation Commission
What is PARC?
The University Place Parks and Recreation Commission is a group of 7 University Place citizens and one alternate position appointed by the City Council. This group advises the City Council on various parks and recreation issues, including CIP (Capital Improvement Projects), land acquisition, park development, and recreation programs.
When does the Park Commission Meet?
The Commission meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers of the University Place City Hall, located at 3715 Bridgeport Way West. Check the Event Calendar for current meeting dates and agendas.
Mission Statement:
To act as a liaison between City Council and the community and to advise the City Council on matters concerning Parks and Recreation.
